A Preview is a two-hour, in-studio session scheduled 2–4 months before your wedding. It’s a collaborative space to refine your look, discuss skin preparation, and ensure everything feels aligned well before the day arrives.
Previews are available exclusively to booked clients. -
Previews are reserved for booked clients. This ensures availability, continuity, and a fully personalized planning process once your date is held.
After booking, we’ll schedule a dedicated preview where your look is thoughtfully shaped around your skin, features, and wedding setting. -
Selaras Haus is designed for brides who value intimacy and intention. I specialize in working with the bride and small parties of up to 2–4 additional people to preserve the quality, stillness, and personal attentiveness of the experience.
If you love the aesthetic, resonate with the philosophy, or simply want a wedding morning that feels personal and unrushed, this approach tends to feel especially supportive.

There’s no minimum. Whether it’s just you or a small group, on-location services are approached with the same level of presence, preparation, and care. Each wedding morning is treated as its own contained experience, never scaled down.

My work is centered on intimate wedding mornings: bride-only through parties of four, so every detail receives full attention.
For larger parties, I bring in a small circle of trusted, professional artists whose work and energy align with mine. This keeps the morning flowing smoothly while ensuring each person feels seen and well cared for. -
I focus exclusively on makeup and skin-first preparation. This allows me to give my full attention to how your skin looks, feels, and wears throughout the day.
I’m always happy to recommend hairstylists whose work complements this approach and your overall vision. -
A $500 non-refundable retainer and signed contract are required to hold your date. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the wedding.
Once confirmed, your date is fully committed—only one wedding is accepted per day. -
Most dates are reserved 12–18 months ahead, especially during peak season. Reaching out early allows for the most flexibility and a more relaxed planning experience.

I primarily serve Tacoma and the greater Seattle area, with travel available beyond that range.
Travel fees and accommodations are assessed based on location, always with the goal of ensuring I arrive rested, prepared, and fully present for your day. -
In the rare event of an emergency, you’ll be notified immediately. I maintain relationships with experienced artists who can step in seamlessly if needed.
Your care and continuity are always prioritized. -
For locations 1.5+ hours away or destination settings, overnight accommodation is required.
A hotel room near your getting-ready location is booked approximately three months prior, invoiced separately, and paid within two days. This ensures timely arrival and a calm start to your wedding morning. -
To protect the flow and ease of your morning, services are provided in one location only. This keeps the experience grounded, organized, and unhurried.
-
Light touch-ups are included at the end of each service to ensure everything looks seamless and camera-ready.
Extended touch-ups or look changes can be added for events that unfold over longer timelines.
